  • How is Just Sip different from other commercially available soups?
    Commercially available soup contains chemical additives such as artificial colors, preservatives, and taste enhancers like MSG (Ajinomoto), large quantities of corn flour etc. More over, they contain fewer vegetables and are devoid of lentils. Just Sip contains 20% vegetables and 25% lentils. Thus taking a glass of Just Sip will act as a mini power packed nutritious lunch. These all things keep Just Sip ahead than most of the commercially available soup mixes. Because of its high vegetable content we wish to call Just Sip a drinking vegetable rather than a soup.

  • How nutritious is Just Sip compared to commercially available soups?
    Commercially available soups contain higher quantities of carbohydrates and fats as compared to proteins and vitamins. They also contain flavour enhancers such as ajinomoto and artificial colors. The vegetable powders which they use contain maltodextrin, which again contributes to increase in carbohydrate content. All these commercially available soups on prolonged use are harmful to health and cannot be consumed on daily basis. On the contrary Just Sip is completely natural and can be taken on daily basis. Each glass of Just Sip contains 22kcal of energy in which the calories from fat is less than 0.75kcal. The calories from fats are usually very difficult to get utilized and tend to get stored in our body. This in turn leads to obesity/overweight etc. So having Just Sip you could completely provide the energy which you are taking through food.


  • What is MSG? Does Just Sip contain MSG?
    MSG (mono sodium glutamate) is locally called as ajinomoto. It is added to commercially available soups as flavour enhancer. It is known to cause health problems such as nausea, headache, dizziness etc. No not at all!!!! The best part about Just Sip is it does not contain any taste enhancers or additives and is completely natural.


  • Is Just Sip free from dairy/ milk ingredients?
    Just Sip is completely free from dairy/ milk ingredients. It has been made keeping in mind people who get stomach discomfort due to dairy products.


  • Can it be used by people who are dieting?
    The concept of dieting varies from person to person. Just Sip contains only vegetables and pulses, which are acceptable for those who are dieting. However since you have an idea what to have during the dieting you could compare it with the details of the Just Sip ingredients, which is mentioned in the card, provided.


  • Can I drink Just Sip on a daily basis?
    Off course, In fact you should have Just Sip on daily basis. One glass of Just Sip may provide you nutrients that are equivalent to 35-40 grams of the fresh vegetable (1 cup of bhaji ). However since it contains a large amount of vegetables and pulses, it may not be advisable to have more than two to three glasses a day.


  • Can Just Sip be given to children below 10yrs of age?
    Why not! In fact it will be much easier for parents to feed their children with essential nutrients as Just Sip contains proteins, vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Dietary fiber etc.


  • Does Just Sip consumption causes flatulence/ gas problem/ stomach upset?
    Usually flatulence/ gas problem/ stomach upset is caused due to indigestion or sudden switching over to fiber rich foods. It is true that Just Sip contains around 12% of dietary fiber but these are soluble fibers, which are good for health. Flatulence/ gas problem/ stomach upset is caused by insoluble dietary fibers, which is also present to some extent in Just Sip and it cannot be completely eliminated. Therefore you can take 2-3 glasses of Just Sip a day, it will not cause any flatulence /gas problem/ stomach upset problem. Also 2 glasses will be more than sufficient to meet with your body’s daily nutrition requirement.


  • How many glasses of Just Sip can one consume in a day?
    One can consume 2-3 glasses of Just Sip a day. Just Sip contains palak and other vegetables in a powder form. When 100kgs of fresh palak is dried, only 6 kgs of palak powder is obtained. So you can imagine the amount of fresh vegetables equivalence you will be consuming in the form of just 1 glass of Just Sip! Lesser will not be a problem. But too high intake (5 glasses a day) may lead to re-hydration of the vegetables in the stomach and subsequent intestinal discomforts or diarrhea.


  • Just Sip contains 65% vegetables and dhals is it true?
    Yes, it is true that Just Sip contains 65% of vegetables and dhals. Where as other typical soups available in the market have only 5 to 10% vegetable powders and there is no dhal used, its just the corn flour.
